Mr David Lim informed that Haji Aziz Rezab of GEM has been helping and contributed very constructively towards the success of the outcome of the meeting. He and a number of Malay brothers were notified and invited by David Lim and the Task Force. Together a week before, Haji Aziz came up to Kedah to help in and to attend a few closed door meetings with the Kedah Excos and the PBT prior to the grand meeting held on 17.02.09. In these meetings, suggestions were raised to remove the blogger and to find out which joker invited him but Mr David Lim and Aziz advised that the blogger be allowed as invitation was misleadingly sent and this is discourteous to do so. Luckily, the blogger sensed tension and not welcome as he tried his tricks going round to rub shoulder with VIPs like a dog wagging tails. He was shocked too when seeing those familiar faces which he didn’t expect and didn’t like to see.
Haji Aziz has agreed to join in as a committee to the PROTEM PERSATUAN PEMILIK RUMAH WALIT KEDAH in which David Lim shall act as the President temporarily. Actually, the new State Govt has been requesting David Lim to help form this state association many months ago to give advices and inputs to the state Govt as to how the Govt could help the owners.
Mr David Lim would like to extend invitation to all BH owners and good men to join in this association. For the moment, there are a number of Malay owners joining in as there are more and more Malay owners in Kedah now. Mr Lim has also invited a number of professional social workers in well known NGOs to join in the initial state to help out. The committee will draft out a very effective plan which shall make this association a model to come. It is a painless, fair yet efficient to the members. Therefore we need a lot of dedicated and sincere volunteers. We will set up three branch office or contact points i.e. Alor Setar, Sg.Petani and Kulim to cover whole Kedah to attend to local owners’ problems faced. This association shall work hand in hand with any similar association sharing the common objectives. Therefore, please help to alert those BH owners in Kedah to keep in touch with David Lim at 0124850778. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.

I'm not from Kedah, but i suggest more vocal NGO's get involved plus international bodies concerning biodiversity conservation... this is to add leverage to the BH industry.
